Where will I find the log files to send you guys? And any other information you need me to watch for?April 12, 2017 at 9:00 am #13373Mike KulasOverload TeamTopics: 24
The log file should be in your data folder.
In the Steam client, right click Overload, select properties, then click the “Local Files” tab. Click “Browse Local Files” and you should see the executable and a folder named “Overload_Data”. The log file should be “output_log.txt”, at least in Windows.April 12, 2017 at 9:03 am #13374
Great. The less mucking around with hidden documents folders the better in my book.
You’ll hear from me this evening. 🙂
EDIT: And I’ve sent you guys a detailed email with logs attached to your feedback@revivalprod address. Hopefully it helps.April 13, 2017 at 12:54 pm #13394Mike KulasOverload TeamTopics: 24
We’ve updated the debug build (now #19) with code that should prevent the significant framerate hiccups some people were seeing.
In your Steam client, right click on Overload. Select Properties, then the Betas tab.
In the box labeled “Enter beta access code…” type: impulsefalcondebug
Click “CHECK CODE”.
It should say: Access code correct, private beta ‘bet_debug’ is now available.
In the dropdown box above, select “beta_debug – Debug version of beta-backer build”.
It should automatically download.
Play it and let us know if it addressed your framerate issue.April 14, 2017 at 1:49 am #13395SkekzyzKickstarter BackerTopics: 6

We’ve put this physics fix into general release. It’s Version 0.2 Build 22.
Please let us know if you’re having any more problems. Sorry for the hassle.
