My Internet was down for 24 hours the other day and when I tried to play Overload the screen would freeze for 20 seconds every 2 minutes.
That is most likely due to a timeout with some of the anti-cheating checks. It generally isn’t very bad (we’ve actually had a lot of trouble reproducing problems locally), but we did add a ‘bypass’ in the last patch. If you press [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[T] in a menu, you will turn the check off for that session (you’ll have to restart the game to re-enable it). While it’s disabled, you will not be able to post high scores on the Leaderboard, or get achievements, but the freezes should go away too.
