Just defeated the boss in Titan Harbor (4 times now)
Not able to save any games after this point
Running through GOG so this may be the issue
I save the game after seeing my stats for Titan Harbor and if I go back to save again I can see Tethys Lab there waiting to be loaded
…but next time I go back into the game there’s no Tethys Lab save
So far it’s not too frustrating – getting really good at beating the boss now – but I’ve completed Tethys Labs twice now and can only stay awake for so long in one go
GOG shows that I’ve completed the Titan levels but seems to have given up on saving games for me
    – I’ve also tried running Overload direct (not through GOG) but get the same result
    (I love it BTW)

Have you tried another save slot?

default autosave (top slot), second slot and quick save (bottom slot) should all have a Tethys Labs save but showing as Titan Collider and Titan Harbor
    …will try a middle slot

…had a look in my save games (I think) in ‘…\AppData\LocalLow\Revival\Overload’
    most recent file is: ‘1;cronus;sp_inner_11;2;636672799984430000.dat’
    next most recent is: ‘0;cronus;sp_inner_11;2;636672799752310000.dat’
    then: ‘8;cronus;sp_inner_11;2;636672656430950000.dat’
    – which seems to correspond to autosave, next slot and quick save
    – all are dated 2018-07-15
but my save game dates show nothing since 2018-07-13
    – very strange

ok just did a save into a middle slot and can see latest file is:
    ‘4;cronus;sp_titan_10;2;636672936780100000.dat’
    – so i’m looking in the right folder
    – if i go to load a game i can see titan harbor – which is right
closed down and restarted overload and now it’s now showing titan harbor – so far so good…
ok so killed the boss and moved onto tethys labs, saved straight away in the top slot, started the level and done a quick f8 save
    – then exited the game and restarted again
interestingly slot 4 now shows tethys but the quick save slot has reverted to titan harbor again
top 3 most recent saves look to be for slots 8, 4, and 0 which match with quick save, manual save and autosave BUT i’m only seeing a png for slot 8 (which is now missing)
    – all very confusing
i have had some internet issues today and i’m thinking this may be a gog/network issue
    – but have also tried simply running overload.exe

I’d suggest putting this on the overload forums in the bug section

    Hi Merlin
I thought this was the bug section of the Overload formum
    – can you supply a link pls
My internet is extremely flakey today so I think I should get that sorted before taking this any further as no-one else seems to have the same problem
Thanks for your help – will report in a few days if the problem persists after I’ve moved to fast fibre

Hey Lance, looking into this now, would you be able to upload at least one of the save files anywhere so we can try loading them on our end too?

Also think Merlin was referring to our Discord’s bugs channel which you can also go to at discord.playoverload.com
