Steam Controller "natural" gyro settings

Hi, Is it possible to get directly the “roll” function of the Steam Controller gyro feature as we do for other axes without assigning 2 keystrokes (roll left, roll right) ?
I find the rolling by steering the controller much too sudden, (like all roll or nothing moves).
Or maybe I missed something in the controller’s setup?

I would really love to take advantage of the flight sim liberty feature given by the Pitch, Roll, Yaw gyroscopic functions of this surprising piece of tech.
