Weapon select keys?

There is now an option to select weapons binding to keys in the menu.
Listed as 1/2, 2/3, and so on. however there is no way of knowing what weapon is 1/2 etc

If i bind key stroke 1 to primary 1 it is the impulse canon.
I can work through and figure what name weapon gets assigned to 1/2, 3/4 etc, although i don’t know why it is not listed.

Also the selected keys to weapon does nor remain the same.
In CM with the weapon selection it messes up the weapon to key stroke pattern.

Probably it is just something stupid easy I have overlooked in trying to figure this out?

there are 8 weapon slots, which you can see in the weapon bar on the lower left of your screen. 1/2 are the first 2 weapons. In CM Thunderbolt should still be weapon 7, it’s just that it might be the first weapon you start with.

There is a plan to allow fully customizable weapon select keys, one per weapon.

Ahh, thanks Lothar that explains it.
Sincerely hope they will make a fully custom weapon select key bind menu.
